Bringing Hope, Joy, & Dignity to Families Each Christmas

Twelve years ago, sisters Jill Donaldson, owner of Bippo’s Place for Smiles and Kids Dental Zone pediatric dental offices, and Margaret Donaldson Bruzdzinski, owner of CFO One Source, felt moved to turn compassion into action. What began as a simple moment of inspiration—sparked by a touching Oprah segment about the life-changing power of kindness—has grown into a vibrant, community-driven nonprofit that transforms Christmas for families who need it most.

Oprah shared how, as a young girl, her family faced a heartbreaking holiday with “no Christmas.” Then, unexpectedly, a group of nuns arrived with gifts, a Christmas dinner, and even a tree. She said the memory shaped her entire life because it proved she mattered to someone she’d never met. That story lit a fire in our hearts… and launched a movement of generosity we’re humbled to continue today.

Our Mission

A decorated Christmas tree with lights and ornaments near a fireplace with stockings and wrapped gifts underneath, in a cozy living room.

Our first year, we helped two families. We bought toys and clothes, but quickly realized we wanted a more intentional, meaningful plan. The following year, our mom, Lynda, joined us—adding books and Bibles to every family’s package. Soon after, John and Jenifer Besh began cooking full Christmas dinners, elevating the experience even further.

One by one, more friends and loved ones joined the mission. We added a Sam’s Club trip for every family to stock their shelves with essential non-perishables. In 2007, we officially became a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, giving our rapidly growing effort a name, a structure, and a mission.
